VAMP is proud to announce its 2010 Annual Meeting, scheduled to be held on January 19, 2010. The meeting will be held from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Ukrop's Super Market located at 11361 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond, VA. The meeting will be held in the Celebration Room on the 2nd floor.

Highlights of the meeting will include:

1) Developing Strategy for VA Meat Processors to lobby the General Assembly and VDACS to retain the T/A Inspection Program.

2) Our Guest Speaker will be Jay Wenther from AAMP (www.aamp.com), who will discuss an overall meat industry update and will answer technical and regulatory questions that VAMP members may have.

3) Dr. Dave Gerrard, the new Head of Virginia Tech's Animal and Poultry Science Department, has been invited to share comments and observations he may have regarding how his new position may relate to meat processing.

Liquid refreshments will be provided courtesy of VAMP. Lunch is available for purchase in the store.
