Virginia Association of Meat Processors launches its official Web site, becoming the online voice of Virginia's meat processing industry.

Virginia Tech has tentatively scheduled a two-and-a-half day HACCP workshop
for meat and poultry processors in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The
"Development and Implementation of HACCP Programs" workshop will run from
Tuesday August 31 (1:30 pm) through Thursday September 2 (4:30 pm).
Attendees will receive International HACCP Alliance certification.
The early registration fee will be $375 per person which includes daily
continental breakfast, lunches, coffee breaks, and all course materials and
handouts. Hotel rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott (workshop site) are
available for approximately $85 plus tax, per night.

The Virginia Association of Meat Processors (VAMP) has scheduled its 2005 Annual Meeting to be held Tuesday, February 22, 2005. The meeting will be held in Richmond, VA at a location to be announced soon.

VAMP's 2005 Annual Meeting, taking place on February 22, 2005, will be held at Ukrop's Super Markets' Store #433, which is located at 10250 Staples Mill Road in Glen Allen, VA (just outside of Richmond).
